what is a birth doula

A birth doula offers support for you and your partner through pregnancy, birth and beyond. We will be there ready to go with our big bag full of tips and tricks. from phone support whenever to hands on help during labor. Our role is to empower mothers to have the birthing experience that is right for them.

My offerings

Not currently taking on birth doula work.

We will start with a 30 minute consultation/interview.

2 prenatal meetings to go over birth plan etc.

1 hands on mini workshop with you and your partner to get a better understanding of: What to expect during labor, comfort measures for mama and birthing positions.

On call for you 24/7 starting at 38 weeks.

Continuous energetic support of your labor and birth.

1 or 2 postpartum visits (totaling 4 hours) to check in on you and your babe. I will bring yummy treats answer basic questions and make sure that you are getting the support you need.
